‘Amy’ Another car boot bargain, bought about 14 years ago for £5, not in the clothes she is wearing of course!! The stall holder told us that she had been bought in Spain. I think she has rather a nice face for a modern doll, though she does have stud diamante earrings which fortunately can’t be seen with her bonnet on. She is wearing a stunning Victorian silk christening gown and cape and a lace bonnet from a slightly later date. Both the bonnet and cape have had to have new ribbons.

A 1920’s/30’s Japanese ‘Indestructible’ not in the best of conditions and kind of ugly bless him! He is wearing a ‘Belly Binder’ and ‘Terry Nappy’

Another car boot find again not in the best of conditions, she would have walked when new, I guess that she is from the 50’s and that the PJ’s are original.

‘Emma’ I guess that this doll is from the 60’s or 70’s another boot sale bargain £3, she does have some ink marks on her face but generally spends her time inside a ‘Babies Gas mask’.

As can be seen I don’t have dolls for their own sake but even though some are not in the best of conditions they show the prams and clothing off very well!
