Turtle and Boat Bottles

‘Turtle Bottles’ appeared around the late 1800’s they had a stopper that enabled the teat to fit directly onto the top of the bottle, they were a great improvement and were to remain popular until the 1920’s. A variation on the turtle bottle was a bottle with an elongated shape known as ‘Flat Feeding Bottles’, ‘Old Fashioned Feeding Bottles’ or ‘Slipper Bottles’.
